Chen Canopy House
Our newest treehouse project embraces lightness, suspended gently above the forest floor to minimize ground disturbance while framing peek-a-boo views of the surrounding forest. Designed as a place for parents and children to share moments of joy, it offers space for the family to grow, imagine, and make it their own.
Formed from simple wood beams rotated through the structure, the treehouse creates a gentle grid that filters sunlight and frames the tree at its centre — a detail that shifts with the seasons, honouring the landscape through changing patterns of light and shadow.

Perched among North Vancouver firs, this 250 ft² cedar‑clad tree‑house was designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind.
The treehouse serves multiple purposes: a home office, artist studio, and yoga space. Notably, the "solar room" within the treehouse is painted a vibrant yellow to combat seasonal mood disorders by reflecting light on cloudy days, enhancing both mood and energy.
